Ordito

Ordito is a web application designed for professional writers who need to build complex plots. It intervenes before the actual writing begins, functioning as a structural scaffold for the story. It works with index cards representing elements, turning points, and relationships within the plot. At its core is an internal narrative consistency control system. It keeps track of unresolved dependencies, plot holes, and connections between story elements. It is a local tool: it does not generate text and does not replace the author. Ordito stands out for its dependency tracking.
